Cookie consent for WordPress and WooCommerce
Self-hosted GDPR cookie consent for WordPress — installed like any plugin, with Google Consent Mode v2, GTM, Meta and TikTok in the base plan. One licence covers every subdomain.

Why WordPress sites need consent that actually blocks
WordPress powers a large share of the web, and WooCommerce turns it into a shop. It is also the platform with the most cookie-consent plugins available — and the one where the gap between a banner that looks compliant and a banner that actually blocks anything matters most, because so many WordPress sites carry Analytics, Ads, Meta and a handful of marketing plugins at the same time.
Installing on WordPress
01
Upload the plugin
Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then Activate. There is no database step at all — Cookie Craft uses the database WordPress already has.
02
Open Cookie Craft
Configure your banner and integrations from the admin menu. Nothing to unzip, no files to edit, no paths to work out.
03
Go live
Clear any caching plugin once so the banner shows on cached pages. Realistic time to a working banner: under five minutes.
What’s specific to WordPress
WordPress is the only platform where installation is fully native and needs no filesystem or database configuration — you configure the banner and integrations, nothing else. Cookie Craft hooks into wp_head, wp_body_open and wp_footer the way WordPress intends, and registers its assets through the normal enqueue system — so caching and optimisation plugins treat it as a well-behaved plugin rather than an unknown script injected into your markup.
The wp_body_open hook matters more than it sounds. Google Tag Manager’s noscript fragment has to sit immediately after the opening <body> tag, and getting it anywhere else is the most common reason tags fire before consent on WordPress sites. Cookie Craft places it correctly without you touching a template.
Included on WordPress, not upsold
No feature is held back for a higher tier. One plan, everything in it.
Google Consent Mode v2
The four signals GA4 and Google Ads need to run properly in the EEA — analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization — set from your visitor’s real choice.
GTM, Meta & TikTok
Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel get base placement and consent-aware loading — no snippets pasted into your WordPress templates, no second plugin to gate them. Your tracking plan still defines the events and conversions.
One licence, one root domain
A multisite network or several WordPress installations across subdomains of one root domain are all covered by the same licence — with unlimited pages and traffic.
A guide for your exact site
Your install guide is generated with your real WordPress paths already filled in, in twelve languages — no example.com placeholders to translate into your own setup.
Why it matters here
WordPress users are the most likely to already have a free consent plugin installed and to assume the problem is solved. The useful thing to do before choosing anything is a thirty-second test: open your site in a private window, open DevTools, filter the Network tab for google-analytics or facebook, and reload. If requests appear before you click Accept, your current banner is decorative.
Cookie Craft blocks the scripts you configure until the matching consent exists, and sends Google the Consent Mode v2 signals it expects — which is what protects your conversion and remarketing data in the EEA.
What it does — and what it doesn’t
Cookie Craft does not scan your WordPress site to discover cookies automatically, and it does not write your privacy policy for you. It gives you the mechanism: a banner your visitors actually interact with, real blocking of the scripts you configure, and correct Consent Mode v2 signals to Google. What you declare in it is up to you.
